All these challenges are faced with constant production improvement by virtue of investments that enable the Company to keep pace with technological development: for years, we have been investing in the constant maintenance of systems, as well as in training of technical personnel, and in compliance with laws on safety and hygiene in the workplace.
Certification of the Quality System is further evidence of S.I.F.E.A.'s commitment, and attests to the Company's efforts and quality-oriented approach, which have been recognized as conforming to standards.
S.I.F.E.A.'s welding processes have been certified with the following procedures:
Submerged arc and manual welding to European standard EN 288/3, which includes a range of thicknesses from 5 to 90 mm with stress-relieving and normalizing heat treatment for ferritic steels, and a range of thicknesses from 5 to 70 mm for austenitic steels.

A fully equipped station is always available for welding special materials, possibly with the aid of welders brought in from outside the company.
Since 1982, S.I.F.E.A. is certified for head forming according to the German TÜV standards with HI and HII Din 17155 material, i.e. P235GH and P265GH EN 10029-2, with austenitic and other non-alloy steels with tensile strength no greater than 520 N/sq mm.
ISO 9002:1994 Company Quality System Certification - "Production of heads for atmospheric and pressure vessels" - was awarded to S.I.F.E.A. in 2002, approval granted with TÜV body.
